This church participates with many others in the community to provide food for people who need it. Our church gathers donations of dry and canned goods on the first Sunday of each month as part of our Communion Service. Donations of money can be sent to the address below. This food bank is part of the Food Bank of the Rockies and receives federal food commodities. Some people gather food from Smith’s and Walmart that might otherwise be thrown away. Last year these people rescued almost 80,000 meals. There are several community-wide food drives during the year, at least two done by the Boy Scouts and one by the Postal carriers. Please help in any way you can.
Food is distributed on Tuesday mornings from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. at the Trinity Lutheran Church at 50 Yellow Creek Road. No I.D. or other documentation is required.
